Established in 1978, Joshua B. Kardon + Company is a small, service-oriented structural engineering firm of four engineers and an office manager. Principal engineer, Joshua B. Kardon, Ph.D., S. E., maintains licenses to practice in California, Washington, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, Hawaii, Colorado, and Nebraska.What We Do
We provide structural engineering consulting, analysis, design, and construction review services for small buildings and other structures, and dispute resolution and litigation support services in matters involving a structural engineer's standard of care, construction defects, and structural failures. We provide our services to private, public and commercial clients. Projects include new houses and small commercial buildings, structural remodels, additions, and repairs, single- and multi-family planned unit residential developments, vehicular and pedestrian bridges, schools, hospitals, foundations, earth-retaining structures, and seismic upgrading of existing buildings.
